Malachi 3:10 is one of the most commonly misused and abused tithing scriptures within the Christian church.
The scripture is not commanding Christians to give money or tithes to the church. Remember, the biblical tithe consisted of agricultural products.
The storehouse was where the agricultural produce was stored. It was not a place of worship. The storehouse and the church are not the same.
When Malachi spoke of "meat," he was referring to cattle and herds such as goats, lambs, cows, etc. Thus, Malachi was not speaking of bringing money into a church.
