If Tithing is Not for Today's Christians Why Do Some Preachers Still Teach Tithing?

We believe there are a number of reasons why some preachers still teach tithing.  Some preachers teach tithing because they do not know any better (biblical ignorance).  Some teach it because of religious tradition.  And some preachers teach tithing for financial gain.
